Apache Hive

Apache Hive is a data warehouse software project built on top of Apache Hadoop for providing data query and analysis. Coursera's Apache Hive catalogue teaches you to manage large datasets residing in distributed storage using SQL structure. You'll learn how to interact with Hive via HiveQL, implementing data summarization, query, and analysis. In addition, you'll gain familiarity with principles of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data storage in Hive, while mastering concepts like partitioning and bucketing of data.
