This course was a very good sum up of Daniel Kahneman's thinking fast and slow. Definitely recommend to everyone who would like to know more about our flaws or would like to refresh your knowledge.

Great course! It allows to understand the twisted logic that run in our heads. Helps to establish the balance between probabilistic truth and illusions that infect our decision-making. Thanks a lot!

Overall I conclude that this course deserves a resounding rating of 90%. It is a fun course that is challenging and informative, and you will learn a lot. It ties together a lot of concepts in order to give you a proper idea of how human behaviors influence financial decision making across the spectrum of anyone who handles money. However, it is designed as a class for the classroom, where its educational value is higher; learning it online is difficult, although possible, and it seems like it would be harder as a college freshman as opposed to a junior or senior. The material consists of slideshows with learning material and problems; the videos help to explain the topics as well. You’ll get the most out of the class if you sit down with a pen and paper and answer the questions; you won’t get them all correct, but you will learn, and it was fun to try and answer the problems and then discover the solution. It is very informative, relevant and important; it is definitely a class you would want to take before studying game theory at any level. It is rewarding to develop an understanding of the material as well. The quizzes on the other hand are not a rewarding part of the class even after studying. They’re the worst part of the class in my opinion. They’re difficult, even with the notes right in front of you, which should have been a good thing for an online class… The overextension of left-lobe thinking and careful consideration of the answers holds the key for some quiz problems, but other quiz problems are pretty much multiple guess even at the best level, and the answers still seem wrong. The quizzes are one of the main reason this course deserves a rating of 90%; they barely reflect that you understand the material. It is also noteworthy that some of the material representing current value is outdated because, as I write this (2025) the course is several years old; the global mutual fund value is no longer $22 trillion dollars, it is more than double that. This doesn’t really negatively impact the value of the class however. I think the class would be a lot better with actual homework, for example sample problems and exercises that reinforce the concepts discussed. Maybe I’m wrong but it would also improve a lot with quizzes that are better insofar as to better gauge the understanding of the class material. Overall this class is very helpful and worth taking!

The readings for week 2 and 3 could have explained the biases in more detail using examples, so that the questions on the quiz don't look alien while still being challenging. Could have benefitted from Quiz Answers and explanations for weeks 2 & 3, just like the ones provided for week 1, so that we know where we went wrong. Really liked the Jean-Paul Rodrigues questions on Week 3 quiz. Liked how links were provided for supplementary material about Bubbles and Crashes - would have liked similar links for other weeks- to read on my own and enhance my learning. Great course, a very new field for me. This course has gotten me very interested in exploring this domain further.

Personally, the reading resources are comprehensive and useful in understanding behavioral economics concepts. However, the description of some parts about US mortgage is really difficult for me to understand. Moreover, I thought that there would be answers explanations for Quiz 2 and 3 just like Quiz 1, but there wouldn't, so there are a lot of questions that I didn't understand why. That's what I feel sorry the most about this course. Otherwise, this course is perfect, I kind of understand a lot of biases and axioms (especially from Week 1). Anyway, you have done a great job in helping more people understand behavioral economics; I really appreciate that.

This is a good course. My first foray into behavioral finance and I am very interested and ready now to dig deeper into the subject. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star is because I felt the lectures could have been a little more detail oriented and not as precisely up to the point as they were. Given that I am a non-finance person, it took me a little longer to grasp a few things. But I like and respect the teachers and clearly they had full grip on the subject.
Highly recommend to anyone to can accept the fact the behavior and biases play a major role in our financial decision making process.
