I learned a lot from this course. I especially appreciated the narrated lessons with demonstrations of the skills. For the most part, I enjoyed the practice assignments. I appreciated the format: skill progression was simple and logical, I was able to progress at my own rate, and I got regular feedback from quizzes.
I don't know that I would continue taking classes through Coursera, however. I was dismayed by the many errors within the course. There were spelling errors. Often, the image accompanying the step-by-step directions did not match the actual directions. A few of the lessons did not have the proper materials linked for download in the instructions. They were, perhaps, in an accompanying set of instructions/documents offered at the beginning of the course? Still, why not embed all the links necessary to complete the lesson within the lesson? There were so many errors, I stopped reporting them after a time. The fact that they still exist, even though so many people have taken this course, leads me to believe that corrections are never made. I hope that isn't the case, but for a paid subscription, I find the level of error inexcusable.
My second biggest critique would be regarding the lack of help available when I had questions about the lesson. Posting questions on the forum with my fellow students was not helpful. It would have been nice to have an actual person to ask, or even an available help pane that addressed specific content.

I lost some of my notes as I was going through the lesson but here are some: PowerPoint Feedback: The save activity number is messed up. In exercise 5 it tells you to save as 3- and in exercise 6 it tells you to save as 5 In the exercise In advancing graphical images, exercise "Inserting Images" the downloads to add to your presentation aren't able to be opened and saved so I was not able to actually practice. I had to just read how to do it. In "Modifying Object in your presentation" in the first exercise, you practice things you don't learn about until the next video. In exercise 9-1 (Inserting audio file) You are unable to save the audio file to your computer and so cannot complete the exercise. In "Add media to a presentation" Exercise 1 the numbering of the saving option is incorrect. It says 4-2 instead of 9-1. In adding comments exercise it tells you to press "Enter" to add your comment, but you actually use "CTL+Enter" In exercise "Edit Master Notes" when resizing to keep centered you have to use "CTL+Click" and THEN drag it. Also, it never showed us how to present a presentation online.

Excellent information taught, without a doubt. But glitchy. There was no way to download the files needed for some presentations, no "files folder" and no way to get a hold of a human. Once I found the backdoor way around it, it went much smoother. Also it was irritating that it would arbitrarily log you out if you spent too much time in the course, but wouldn't tell you until you were finished with the video and had to restart CourseRA and the video. Regardless, it does teach you quite a lot, especially for someone that has never used PowerPoint in her life.

The contents are often mixed up, like AI is doing it and there are screens that have answers in the quizzes that I did not give. There is also a lot of lag when submitting honors assignments and I'm not sure if my last one even got submitted properly though I tried twice. Not the most user friendly in that sense.

Very informative however the videos are too wordy, making it difficult to digest. Sometimes it's too hard to get through a video

Sure it would be best to use the paid version of the app. Unable to complete most of the exercises in the week 4 portion.
